Senior Adult Ministry

Our Senior Adult Ministry provides activities that allow for times of fellowship, ministry and visiting interesting places. Contact church office fore Rev. Sam LoBello for information.

Iron Man Bible Study

The Men's Ironman Bible study is held every Friday morning at 5:30 a.m. in the conference room to study and discuss the Bible, one chapter at a time. This small group focuses on fellowship, personal refection and personal growth.

Men's Prayer Breakfast

The LOUMC Men’s Ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of each month from 7:30 am. - 9:00 a.m. in the conference room. Join us for a time of fellowship, Bible study and prayer, some coffee and biscuits.

The Union

The Union is a ministry for married couples 35 and under that meet once a month for food, fellowship and bible study. Please contact church office for more information.

Deeper Life Men and Women's Bible Study

Meet every Tuesday evening at 6:30. Women meet in the Chapel and Men meet upstairs in Sanctuary. For more information contact church office.

Men's Pray-and-Play Basketball

The men's basketball group "Men's Pray-and-Play Basketball" meets every Thursday night in the Family Life Center at 6:00 pm. for Bible study and several games of basketball. High School and adults only!

The Ministry of Pastoral Care

“Is any among the sick, let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.” James 5:14

The ministry of Pastoral Care focuses primarily on visitation to hospitals, nursing homes, and to shut-ins. Upon request, visitation with the sacrament of communion and/or anointing with oil offered. Persions anticipating pastoral care may call the church office (225-664-4801) for Rev. Tom Bergerson (225) 281-3292.

Pie Ministry

Our Pie Ministry is an outreach ministry that brings a pie to first time visitors. Call the church office to be a part of the team.

Gloves

The Gloves ministry's sole mission is to give glory to God by helping His people that are in need. Our community outreach program is designated to address virtually any need. Please contact the church office to be a part of the team or to inform us of a need.

Quilting Ministry

The Piecemakers meet every Wednesday morning from 8:00 a.m. to noon in the Family Life Center. The goal of this group is to provide beatiful and functional quilts for those in need. Our group has made over 1000 quilts for thee children's home, veterans' home, women's shelters and more.

Family Night

This ministry meets every month that has a 5th Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in the Familly Life Center. It is a great time of food, fellowship and fun for the entire family.
